Fog, in London, no kidding and other weird weather!

It is on the news here (Toronto, Canada) that there is fog in London. I say, this is news? :)

Ok, so the story is that Heathrow is fogged right in and people flying here for Christmas may be delayed.

Right now in Toronto it is 2C and sunny. The high today is supposed to hit 6C. Not bad for the first day of winter. No white Christmas for us, it is supposed to be sunny and warm on Christmas day.

Anyway, Merry Christmas from Canada, the Great Not So White North, eh!
I cannot deny anything that I did not say.

To be fair to Londoners (oh go on, why not), the days of regular pea-soupers passed with the introduction of the Clean Air Act, so it's not usually like the set of a Sherlock Holmes or Jack the Ripper film nowadays. I believe they have also done something to clear up the slum tenements.
