Now I have had a chance to check, I find it had set itself to Ispell (must have happened during an update of KDE, as I specifically remember setting it to Aspell before), now set back to Aspell, with English (United Kingdom) and ISO 8859-15. It doesn't accept moderatley now, and as it doesn't like ley as a word either, that explains why it isn't considering it to be a run together word.

Another mystery solved, isn't Linux great :)

I take it ASpell didn't pick up the incorrect vowel in the last word? ;-)

That explains a lot, even your spell-checker's borked. You'll also notice that nelz wrote "vowel", you have not changed the vowel, merely the position of one of the consonants.

The word you are looking for is ****. <err, censored, apparently>

Really! That I should have to explain these things to you. It doesn't make you look any more intelligent, you know :P

Although, to be fair, it doesn't make him look any less intelligent either ;-)
