Most of the TR podcasts I've listened to recently have had mention of a lot of flaming of the TR team in them. A lot of snotty comments along the lines of "stop being negative" or "the music sucks" or "stop laughing" or whatever. That honks me off right royally.
It's one thing to say "I disagree with you" and another to attack the style and substance of the podcast. I like the humour. I like the quirky style. I like that Andrew never does the challenges. Or that Paul always has 50+ discoveries of the week / fortnight. Or that Grub never seems to get covered (I'm only up to ep 22 of season 2, so if it gets covered later, I apologise in advance). Or that KDE gets slated every podcast (and I still use it).
If you don't like it, stop listening to it! It's not like it's paid for by you! The mag is paid for by readers. The pdfs are paid for by subs. The podcasts are made in free time by people who do the challenges in their free time. If you don't like it, don't listen.
And if after all that, you still feel the need to flame, don't call yourself Anonymous Penguin. Have the balls to give your real name / forum username.
OK rant over.
