Google Mail's scary advert AI

Postby M-Saunders » Mon Aug 22, 2011 11:55 am

Most ads are relevant to things I've talked about in mails, but one that keeps coming up next to my messages is "Bedwetting Problems - Everything you need to know about bedwetting and how to approach it"

Does it know something about me that I don't?

I'm also getting adverts for "Close Combat Training", "How To Sing" and "Rent a flat in Paris"

Surely one would want to prevent it, rather than approach it :?

A friend once said he was always getting ads for beef jerky. For some reason I keep seeing recipes for SPAM :?

Is that what they're calling it nowadays? My throwaway Yahoo account is full of it. ;)
