Ubuntu 11.10

Postby heiowge » Fri Apr 08, 2011 4:16 pm

Why on earth is 11.10 called Oneiric Ocelot? Onanistic Ocelot is so much easier and more accurate to such a self-congratulatory distro...

I don't think Panther is an option, OS X 10.3 was called Panther.

Maybe there won't be an Ubuntu 11.10, as everyone will move to Mint :-)

No, but they like to tell us the names well in advance, so we can all lots of dismissive comments about them. You will find that the clue is in the numbering, 11.10 will be out in October this year, probably.

The world ends in 2012, not 2011 ... and it's after 12.10 (Qabalistic Quetzalcoatlus anyone  ) should be released.
