Having just read this thread I now know that it is not so strange that I am a hedgehog flavoured turnip with glass-blowers lips

Okay Mike, what is it with you, Susanna and the four puppies?

So this is the third time!

Note: must remember to curse my memory for wholly irrelevant things, which also lets me forget everything that is important.

It's a really (really (really)) obscure reference from a film -- something random to say when you want to confuse your co-converser. A free packet of Smarties to the first person who can identify it!

BTW, I'm the same with memory. 60 years from now, I'll be sitting in the old folks home with no clue about significant moments in my life -- but I'll be able to remember the secret exit to Donut Plains Ghost House. Bleh.

Wasn't the word 'Mormon'?

Being a cretin Mormon would probably be an oximormon, which is a person who comes to your door and leaves a lot o bullsh!t behind.

Unfortunately, I can't eat Smarties any more... whenever I eat any sort of chocolate I get a bad headache within a couple of hours. It's extremely frustrating because I really like chocolate :(

No, but the film is set in a Spanish-speaking country, so you win one Smartie! What colour would you like?
