New motherboard. What to choose?

Postby overflow » Wed Jul 26, 2006 1:44 pm

I'm soon to buy a new dual-cpu or dual-core motherboard. Having been stuffed in the past with missing or unsupported drivers for various components, I'm going to do some homework first before I order.

Where's a good place to look to find out about Linux support of fast motherboards?

Thanks.

Phoronix is good for Linux compatible hardware reviews, and they often test out top-end kit. Sadly it's a US based site, so that even if you find something you are really impressed by and decide you want, it might not be available in the UK.
