What has happened to the RSS feed that I use in a live-bookmark in Firefox.
It has not been working for several days now, just showing the error "Live Bookmark feed failed to load"! All other live bookmarks, which I use for several sites are still working fine.

I have tried renewing the feed just in case the address had changed, but that still is ineffective. I have also tried using liferea in my Xubuntu 12.04 and get an error saying the feed is not correct or viable.

Surely we are not the only two with this difficulty, are we?

Any forum mods who can help us? Please, please!

Ditto here. I tried out 4 different machines, all give the same lack of a result so the usual mantra ("what have I done now?") is redundant. Must be the other end.
Part of my morning ritual, the cup of tea and LXF & BBC feeds.

Hi guys. I can confirm the rss feed is no longer working. More precisely, it is working, but because this is an ancient module for phpbb 2.0 which spits out ancient RSS2.0, Firefox Live Bookmarks no longer understands it. It also doesn't work in the Liferea feed reader, incidentally.

But fear not, our crack web development team is already testing out a migration to phpbb 3.0.12, which will restore your live bookmarks Real Soon Now. Thanks for your patience.

And phpBB3 is out for how long now? When I started my own (non IT-related) forum I already had version 3.0.x, four-and-a-half years ago!

Back then I tried converting an old phpBB2 forum to phpBB3 and the tool worked (eventually), but I wasn't too happy with the result. Hence I started from scratch. YMMV!

Great Scott! Well then I can only attribute it to goblins, or possibly gremlins. Or maybe a buggy bit of php that makes the feed in some way indigestable for certain types of posts.

It's definitely not a covert LXF psy-ops experiment to see if there is a correlation between the functionality of the feed and users' moods. But then again, I would say that, wouldn't I?

I'm a bit slow out of the blocks here with this but thanks to the tweakers who got the feed working again. My ritual is now restored.
